Reviews: The Perfect Chemistry ( all three books)

Hi, everyone!, i haven't posted in a while and i read these three books the other day and i just loved so i wanted to do a review on them, the books are:

Book title: The Perfect Chemistry
Book no: 1
Author: Simone Elkeles
Published: December 23rd 2008

Summary: When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created 'perfect' life is about to unravel before her eyes. She's forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for: her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect.

Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.

In a passionate story about looking beneath the surface, Simone Elkeles breaks through the stereotypes and barriers that threaten to keep Brittany and Alex apart.

What i thought about the book:
i loved this book, i fell in love with it right away, and i couldn't put it down, i spent all night reading it, i loved the characters, and to be honest, first when i heard about these books i thought they wouldn't be that good, i thought that they would be too much for younger teens, but i was wrong, it does have some sex in each book ( so if you don't like that, either skip that part in the book or just don't read) but the sex part isn't like in your face sex (lol), it was just a tiny part.

i loved the characters ( i loved Alex much more than Brittany though), they were fun to read and i really loved Brittany's sister and the way Alex was with her, but i hated Brittany's parents, just the way her mother treated Brittany and the way her father was never around.

i loved how it wasn't love at first sight, far from it actually,  but i did hate how Brittany judged Alex at first just from rumours, but other than that i just loved this book and i recommend it so so much

Rating: 5/5 stars!

Book title: Rules of Attraction
Book no: 2
Author: Simone Elkeles
Published: 27th April 2010

Summary: When Carlos Fuentes returns to America after living in Mexico for a year, he doesn’t want any part of the life his older brother, Alex, has laid out for him at a high school in Colorado. Carlos likes living his life on the edge and wants to carve his own path—just like Alex did. Then he meets Kiara Westford. She doesn’t talk much and is completely intimidated by Carlos’ wild ways. As they get to know one another, Carlos assumes Kiara thinks she’s too good for him, and refuses to admit that she might be getting to him. But he soon realizes that being himself is exactly what Kiara needs right now.

What i thought about the book:
Omg!, this was my favorite book out of all three!, i loved Carlos!, he is my favorite brother from the three, he was just so.. i can't explain really, but i really loved him, so many parts made me laugh a lot, especially when Kiara was hiking and he went after her ( i won't say anymore, but i thought it was really funny)

i loved Kiara, i loved the fact that she wasn't a girly-girl, i really liked that she loved fixing cars and that she loved hiking and many more boyish things, and i loved her family and how they didn't judge Carlos and hate him like Brittany's parents with Alex ( from the first book).

also in this book i loved how it wasn't love at first sight like in most books these days. i really recommend this book to everyone!

Rating: 5/5 Stars!!

Book title: Chain Reaction
Book no: 3
Author: Simone Elkeles
Published: 16th August 2011

Summary: Like his brothers, Luis Fuentes is a risk taker; whether he's scaling the Rocky Mountains or dreaming of a future as an astronaut, Luis is always looking for the next thrill. Nikki Cruz lives her life by certain rules -, don't trust a boy who says "I love you", boys lie to get their own way and never date a boy from the south side of Fairfield. Then she meets Luis at his brother Alex's wedding and suddenly she's tempted to break all her rules. Getting Nikki to give him a chance is Luis's biggest challenge, until he finds himself targeted by the head of the gang that nearly destroyed his brothers' lives. Will Luis's feelings for Nikki be enough to stop him from entering a dark and violent world that could prove to be the ultimate risk?

What i thought about the book:
to be honest Luis is my least favorite brother, i thought that i would love him, but after a while i didn't like him as much as Carlos and Alex, i thought that since he was so smart that he would make better decisions and learn from his brothers, but noo he made practically the same mistakes, the whole time when he did something i kept thinking dude!, you want to graduate and you want to be a freaking astronaut, if you keep doing these things your dream will never come true!, and he annoyed me at some times, but i do still love him too

i loved Nikki, i thought she was a great character, and i loved reading what happened, i don't have much to say about her but i did love her personality, and for the third time, i love how it wasn't love at first sight haha.

Rating: sadly it's 4/5 Stars, i wanted to give it 5/5, but i just didn't enjoy it as much as the first two.
