Feature and Follow Friday #2, I am a Featured Blog!!

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read

I am so excited that this Friday my blog will be featured!, The other blog that is being featured this week is A thousand words, A million books. So make sure to check her blog out if you haven't already.

This week's question is:
Q: What books would you give to newbies in your favorite genre? (Ex. I'm a newbie to high fantasy and EVERYONE said to ease into it with the Throne of Glass series!) - Suggested by Take Me Away...

A: I am going to choose Young Adult, and Paranormal, since a lot of my favorite series and trilogies are from those two genre's.

1. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. ~ I can't say it enough, I love this series, it is my favorite series ever, and I have read it over 6 times and haven't gotten sick of it and I know I never will. If we have talked and you've asked me to recommend you a book, this series would be the first series I would recommend (unless you are looking for a different genre).

2. Shatter me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi ~ I read this trilogy this year and I got to say that I already want to read it again!, I loved it that much, the only flaw I feel it has is that there is basically no or very little world building, but the storyline, is awesome, the way that Tahereh writes is just amazing. The characters are unforgettable, especially Warner (back off, he's mine lmao).

3. Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout ~ I haven't finished this series and so far I've read 3 out of the 5 books, but I know that when I finish this series it will still be in my favorites, it's so freaking good.

4. Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin ~ So creepy and awesome, it's a perfect read for fall! (The third and last book will come out in November, if they don't push the date back again haha).

I prefer both GFC and Bloglovin' so whichever you choose to follow me with is fine with me (you can also follow on both if you want hahah)

Currently Reading #1: Winter Wonderland by Belinda Jones

Hey everyone!, I am currently reading a few books at once, I have a few books I am reading for school and a few books I am reading for fun, so I wanted to share with you one of the books I am currently reading.

1. Winter Wonderland by Belinda Jones
Goodreads
Synopsis: Imagine waking up in a snow globe...

That’s how travel journalist Krista feels when she arrives in magical Quebec to report on Canada's glittering Winter Carnival.

Over ten sub-zero days Krista's formerly frozen heart begins to melt as she discovers an enchanting world of ice palaces, husky dog-sledding and maple-syrup treats galore. And then she meets Jacques, a man as handsome and rugged as he is mysterious…

The two share a secret that could bond them forever, but can they find a way to break through the protective layers around their hearts to warm up this winter wonderland?

…let the snow-spangled adventure begin

---------------
I know it's still October (well for 2 more days), but I am in such a Holiday mood and I've been wanting to read this book for a long time, and now is the perfect time, I've been listening to Christmas songs and been wanting to watch Christmas movies already ( Yes, I am one of those people who get into a Christmas mood way too early haha).

The synopsis of this book sounds really good, plus I've read a few of Belinda's books and I loved them, so I know I will enjoy this book.
---------------
Also I wanted to ask you guys what your favorite Christmas themed books are, I am looking for more Christmassy(is that a word ? lol) books to read but there are so many and it's so freaking hard to choose!.

Basically I am asking if you could recommend me some Christmas themed books, nothing paranormal though, I just want a normal realistic cheesy romantic holiday book.

Have you read this book ?
If yes, What did you think of it ?

The Collector by Victoria Scott (Dante Walker trilogy) ~Book Review

Book Title: The Collector
Author: Victoria Scott
Series: Dante Walker #1
Genres: Young Adult, Paranormal, Fantasy...
Published: April 2nd 2013 by Entangled teen

Synopsis: Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of Hell’s best — a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.

Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment: Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.

Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of Hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realises this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions long ago buried.

Even though the title says The collector, this Review will be about the whole series.

My Review: I only started reading this series because a lot of people whose blogs I follow love this trilogy and love Dante haha, I honestly wasn't sure if I would enjoy it, the synopsis didn't really reel me in if that makes sense (please tell me that it does lmao), but when I started reading it I immediately fell into it and couldn't stop reading it, I mean I finished it in a day, and started reading the second book right away, so I am very happy.

I read this trilogy a few months ago and I still don't 100% know how I feel about Dante though, I mean I do like him, but there are a few things he does in this trilogy that pissed me off, and I can't say anything because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but if you have read this book you might know what I am talking about. Charlie for me wasn't really a memorable character if I am being honest, I didn't really fall in love with her like I do with a lot of main characters, the other characters in this series on the other hand I loved!, although I am not going to write them down, in fear that I will forget a character I like hahaha.

I would totally recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it, I actually have recommended it a few times already and I will continue to do so because I really like this book and this trilogy, so far Victoria Scott has not disappointed me, I love all her books, and I can not wait for Salt and Stone, the second book in the Fire and Flood (series/trilogy ?).

Stars: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Would I re-read this trilogy ?: Definitely sometime in the future!.

Have you read this trilogy ?
What did you think of it ?

Feature and Follow Friday #1

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts,× Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and× Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own× Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This weeks Question is:
Characters, sometimes our favorites, die during books. If you’d get to choose, who would you bring back?
If you haven't read Divergent, The Fault in our stars, Harry Potter, and If I stay then please be careful not to get spoiled.
1. Divergent - Tris, I actually didn't read Allegiant because I was spoiled on what would happen and I got pretty pissed off and I didn't want to continue reading it and I don't think I'll ever pick it up, unless somehow the author magically brings back Tris lol.
2. The Fault in Our Stars - Augustus Waters ~ I cried like I don't even know what when he passed away, before I read the book I was spoiled and knew he would die, and for a while I didn't want to read the book, but then I thought well since I know the ending it might hurt less....boy was I wrong lmao.
3. Harry Potter - Dobby - That was the worst thing ever :(, Poor Dobby, I really wish he hadn't died, whyy J.K Rowling??, WHY??, ugh.
4. If I stay - Mia's little brother, It really sucked that her parents died, but the second worst part was that her little brother died too, he was so young, and had so much more left to do, I was sad when her parents died, but I teared up a lot when her little brother died, that was the second worst part (first being that her whole family died of course.)

I prefer both GFC and Bloglovin' so whichever you choose to follow me with is fine with me (you can also follow on both if you want hahah)

Waiting on Wednesday: The Return by Jennifer L. Armentrout

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Book Title: The Return (Titan #1)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Expected Publication: February 17th 2015
Goodreads: HERE

Synopsis: The Fates are cackling their bony asses off…

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody–which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.

I have been really loving Jennifer L. Armentrouts books lately ( I mean come on!, she made Daemon Black!!, and who doesn't love that sugar pie haha), and when I saw that she is starting another series I just had to check it out and I am glad that I did because it sounds really good!, I can't wait for it to come out so I can get my hands on it!

Have you heard of this new series ?

The Book Blogger Tag

Picture is not mine.
Hey everyone, I saw this tag over at waterpainteddreams and it seemed fun, so I decided to do this tag too!, I hope you enjoy it! :)

Which book most recently did you not finish?
I usually always finish the books I am reading, so I haven't not finished a book in a long time and that book is Raw by Aurora Belle, I thought I would enjoy it but it just wasn't working for me and I decided to read a few spoilers on what happens and I was glad that I decided to stop reading.

Which book is your guilty pleasure?
I don't have one book, but my guilty pleasure is definitely cheesy romance books, sometimes the books are so cheesy that I just can't handle them but I keep reading them because they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside haha.

Which book do you love to hate?
Definitely Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, honestly it is the worst book I have ever read, or well worst book I didn't finish, I couldn't even get half way through it, it bothered me like no other book has ever bothered me, even thinking about the book makes me feel angry haha. I know that people have different opinions on what they like, but I just don't get how people can like the main guy in this book, he is the worst male character that I have ever read about, and I really should just leave it there because I don't want to anger myself more by thinking about this book haha (It's weird how one book affects me this much, I have never hated a book until I read this one.)

Which book would you throw into the sea?
Again Beautiful Disaster by Jamie Mcguire.

Which book have you read the most?
The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead

Which book would you hate to receive as a present?
Ok since I picked Beautiful Disaster twice already I need to pick something else for this haha. Hmmm, I think I might pick any book that has graphic rape scenes in it, It's something that I just can't read about.

Which book could you not live without?
The Perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, I can't even explain how much I love this book. (I would have also put the VA series, but I already used it twice haha.)

Which book made you the angriest?
(Beautiful Disaster haha.) Tears of Tess by Pepper Winters, I went into it not knowing there would be a graphic sex scene and well, I just wasn't able to handle that scene ( I did finish and enjoy the book, but that part just made me angry and it made me cry.)

Which book made you cry the most?
If I stay by Gayle Forman, I cried like I've never cried before when I read that book, I just I really love it and that book made me think about things and it made me appreciate everything I have even more because you never know what might happen tomorrow.

Which book cover do you hate the most?
I don't hate any covers actually, but I do wish the VA series had better covers.

So, that was the Book Blogger Tag, I enjoyed doing this tag and answering all the questions, and If you want to do it too just link it down below and I will make sure to check out your tag!.

The Nethergrim by Matthew Jobin: Book Review

Book Title: The Nethergrim
Author: Matthew Jobin
Series: The Nethergrim Trilogy
Genres: Middle Grade, Fantasy, Adventure...
Pages: 368
Published: April 8th 2014 by Philomel

Synopsis: Everyone in Moorvale believes the legend: The brave knight Tristan and the famed wizard Vithric, in an epic battle decades ago, had defeated the evil Nethergrim and his minions. To this day, songs are sung and festivals held in the heroes' honor. Yet now something dark has crept over the village. First animals disappear, their only remains a pile of bones licked clean. Then something worse: children disappear. The whispers begin quietly yet soon turn into a shout: The Nethergrim has returned!

Edmund’s brother is one of the missing, and Edmund knows he must do something to save his life. But what? Though a student of magic, he struggles to cast even the simplest spell. Still, he and his friends swallow their fear and set out to battle an ancient evil whose powers none of them can imagine. They will need to come together--and work apart--in ways that will test every ounce of resolve.

In a story reminiscent of the Ranger’s Apprentice epic and the Chronicles of Narnia, Matthew Jobin weaves reality, magic, and adventure into the next great fantasy phenomenon.

My Review: This book I needed to read for English class (or well we had 2 books we had to read, and then there were 3 books we could choose from.) and I really liked it, I really enjoyed the characters, the story line and basically everything, I thought it was a great read and I feel like everyone who loves/likes fantasy would definitely enjoy this book.

I read this review on Goodreads and she said that finally the parents of the kids are present in the book because usually in these kinds of books either the parents are on some kind of vacation or work a lot, or just aren't there, and in this book the parents were present and a part of the story, and I really agree with her, I loved the fact that Edmund's parents were there (even though they annoyed me a tiny bit, esp at the burning part, you'll know what I am talking about when you read it haha.)

In this book not many people annoyed me and usually there are a lot of them haha, basically Edmund's brother annoyed me more than anything, I just wanted to smack him he was so annoying in the beginning.

The ending really surprised me, I honestly did not see that coming!, so be ready for a big surprise! (well unless you figure it out half way through or something haha.)

Stars: I give this book 4 stars out of 5
Will I continue with this trilogy ?: Yes I will, I really want to know what will happen.

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan: Book Review

Book Title: The lightning thief (#1)
Author: Rick Riordan
Series: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Genres: Middle Grade, Greek Mythology, Fantasy, Adventure..
Pages: 377
Published: March 1st 2006 by Disney Hyperion books

Synopsis: Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school... again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus' master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect.

Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus' stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.

My Review: I have no idea why I didn't just read this book sooner, I really regret waiting this long to read it, because I freaking loved it, I loved it so much that I went back into the book store and bought the rest of this series so I could read it all at once. I've always loved Greek mythology and the fact that it's a big part of this series makes me love it so much more.

I honestly don't have much more to say about this book except that I freaking loved it and I recommend it to everyone!, next time someone asks me for a good book to read this might be my first response haha. When I first decided to read this series I was so afraid that I would hate it because so many people raved about this series (especially booktubers) and I was scared that it was over-hyped, but it wasn't, it totally deserves all the love it's getting.

Stars: 5 stars out of 5
Will I continue on with the series ?: I am already half way through the second one haha, I just need more time so I can read, school is kind of in the way haha.

Have you read this book or this series ?
What did you think of it ?

Book haul!

Hello everyone!, in these past few months i got some books (not too many though which I am very proud of haha.) and I wanted to share them with you like I always do, I don't even know why I do this in every book haul haha. First part will be books that I bought myself and the second part will be library books.

Books I bought: (Sorry the picture is crappy I just moved and I need to find a place in this apartment that has good lighting)
As always, if you are interested in the book you can just click the name of the book and it will direct you to the Goodreads page ( and no I am not affiliated or anything lmao, I just put the links so if you are lazy like me you don't have to go on Goodreads and look for it haha.)

1. Of Mice and men by John Steinbeck ~ (This is a book that I had to buy for school, and I am really excited to continue reading it, I've always wanted to read it but I was always too lazy to get it haha.)
2. The secret life of bees by Sue Monk Kidd ~ This is also a book I needed for school, I've heard some things about it and I hope that I'll like it.
3. The outsiders by S.E. Hinton ~ I've been wanting to read this book ever since I read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and when I saw it there for really cheap I just had to get it haha, There was no way that I was going to pass that up.
4. True Fire by Gary Meehan ~ I've never heard anything about this book so I decided to go with my gut and get it (or maybe it was the sticker in the front that says if you liked Throne of glass, you ill love True fire, which is a weird reason because I've still not read Throne of glass haha.
5. The kite runner by Khaled Hosseini ~ I bought this book while I was in Norway in a used bookstore for really cheap, I thought it was required for school but it turns out that it was for last semester and for this semester are the ones I mentiones above and another I will mention that I haven't bought yet.
6. The coldest girl in coldtown by Holly Black ~ I've actually kind of read half of this book already but not really because I listened an audio book of it, but I am so used to reading rather than listening so when I saw this book 50% off I just had to get it!.
7. Seige and Storm by Leigh Bardugo ~ Ever since I arrived in Iceland I've seen this series in every bookstore BUT only the second and third book, I've looked EVERYWHERE for the first book but it's nowhere it's so weird, I talked to the guy who works are the book store though and he will tell me when it comes in so I am waiting for that but until then I saw this book 50% off and I just had to get it haha (like I always do haha)

Library Haul:
1. Percy Jackson og Eldingarþjófurinn ~ I've always wanted to read the Percy Jackson series but I never got around to it, and the other day I went to the library here to check on the book and it turns out the first one was loaned out, so when I saw the book in Icelandic I decided to get it, It's been a while since I've read a book in Icelandic but so far it's going great, and if I enjoy this book I will definitely buy the whole series in English.
2. The knife of never letting go by Patrick Ness ~ I've been wanting to read this book for a while but I never saw it in book stores or libraries so when I saw it in the library I just had to have it, right now I am 100 pages in and so far I am really enjoying it.
3. The Diviners by Libba Bray ~ I've heard so many great things about this book and I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it or not so I am going to force myself to start it and we'll see if I end up liking it or not.
4. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead ~ If you have been following me for a while you might know that The Vampire Academy series is my favorite series of all time and I can't ever stop talking about it and also that I've read the series over 5 times, well this is a spin off with one of the characters and to be honest I've never been interested in this series, but after hearing so many great things about it I decided to read it (also because I really miss the VA universe and I didn't bring my VA series to Iceland with me *damn it!*), so I hope that I'll like this series.
5. The Prodigy by Marie Lu ~ I already read the first book a while ago and didn't have the second book to read and when I saw it there on the shelf i grabbed it right away so no one else could take it....even though no one was there...it's not weird...

So that was my haul, sorry that my explanations are long, I just had a lot to say about each book haha.

Have you gotten anything new lately ?
Have you read any of these books and what did you think of them ?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
This weeks topic is: Top Ten Books I'd Give To Readers Who Have Never Read X (examples: New Adult novels, historical fiction, a certain author, books about a certain topic, etc).

I decided to go with Contemporary, so if you have never read contemporary or if you do read books from that genre but you don't know what to read next just check this list out and see if any of these books interests you! (I don't go into detail about these books though, but if you want to check the books out just click on the name of the book and it will take you to the goodreads page!)

1. The Perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky ~ One of my favorite books ever!

2. If I stay, and Where she went by Gayle Forman ~ Another favorite (I like the first book much more though.) If I stay is about to come out to the theaters soon, so I am very excited about that!.

3. Perfect Chemistry, Rules of Attraction, and, Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles ~ These books are basically my nr 1 recommendation everytime someone asks me for a good contemporary.

4. Pushing the limits by Katie Mcgarry (Pushing The Limits #1) ~ I especially recommend the second and third book, Dare you to and Crash into you, which are my favorite!

5. Anna and the french kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Anna and the french kiss #1) ~ Ofcourse I recommend Lola and the boy next door too! (I actually kind of like Lola more haha, but since anna is the first book I put that one as the main)

6. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell ~ This book was better than I expected it to be and I really enjoyed it, I wish she would have written more about these characters though :/

7. Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally (Hundred Oaks #1) ~ Also all the books in this series are really good!, If you want good sporty contemporary books these are the ones to check out!

8. The Duff by Kody Keplinger ~ A book that stayed with me for a long time after I read it, I really enjoyed it.

9. Easy by Tammara Webber (Contours of the heart #1) ~ An amazing book, my favorite New Adult contemporary

10. The Edge of never by J.A. Redmerski (The Edge of Never #1) ~ I read this book this summer and it was so addicting and so so much better than I thought it would be, this is also new adult contemporary, it has some mature topics in it so if you don't like that then you should avoid this book (or you can read the book and just avoid those mature scenes haha)

So, those are my 10 contemporary books I'd recommend, what did you think of them ?
Have you read any of these books and did you enjoy them ?
Are any of these books on your TBR list ?

(I got all the information from Goodreads)
--------------------------
I read the first book during my summer vacation while I was in Croatia and I totally fell in love with the storyline and everything in it, the second I finished the book the first thing on my mind was ~I need the second book now or I will explode~ haha and I love books that make me feel that way, I am so excited for it to come out you have no idea (unless you've also read and loved the first book like I did haha). The sad part is that it comes out next year (thankfully at the beginning of the year and not at the end or I would have gone crazy haha).

This isn't the first book I've read by Victoria Scott, I've also read the Dante Walker trilogy (which I of course loved) and I got to say that Victoria Scott will be on my auto buy list from now on, any book she writes I will definitely buy and read it!

Have you read Fire & Flood or any of her other books and did you enjoy them ?

Book Review: The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski

Author: J.A. Redmerski
Edition: Paperback

Genre: New Adult, Romance, Contemporary, Adult, Road Trip.
Release date: November 15th 2012 by Createspace

Synopsis: Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.

And she vowed never to fall in love.

But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?

Review: This is another book that I thought I'd dislike before I even read it, I honestly thought at first it was going to be a depressing book, I don't know why but I did and I am so glad (so so so so glad) that I decided to give it a chance because it is now one of my favorite books ever, I finished it really quickly because I couldn't put it down, it was funny, sexy, serious and just everything I want in a book.

I don't have much to say except that this book made me smile, laugh, cry and it also made me angry (you'll know when you read the book why) It made me feel all the emotions and I already want to re-read it.

Stars: 5 out of 5
Will I re-read ?: Yes definitely.
Will I read the next book ?: I bought the 1st and 2nd at the same time (thankfully) and I already started reading the second one.

Have you read The Edge of Never ?
If yes, did you like it ?
If no, will you read it ?

One last thing I want to say and that is: I love Andew. That is all.

As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows.

Review: From the moment I started reading this book I fell right into it and I couldn't stop reading, it was much different than any book I've ever read and it kept me interested til the end, but it wasn't the best book I've read and I don't even feel like I want to reread it and usually with books that I love, at the end I always feel like I can't wait to re-read them.

The first time I read the synopsis for this book I wasn't interested in it at all, I honestly didn't think I'd even enjoy it a little but I was wrong.

I did love a lot of the characters they kept me really interested and amused and if the characters weren't as interesting and as great as they were I don't think I would have enjoyed this book as much, so a huge plus for the characters!.

Last thing I want to talk about are the pictures, I absolutely adored all the pictures, they were really cool and creepy and I really loved that, and this book wouldn't have been as good without them.

Stars: 4 out of 5 Stars

Will I re-read?: Nope, probably not.

Will I read the next book?: Ofcourse I will, I already bought Hollow City, I just grabbed it straight away when I saw it.

Have you read Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children ?
If yes, Did you enjoy it ?
If not, Will you be reading it ?

Weight Loss and Fitness: My Progress

Hey everyone!
I started working out a while ago since I was so unhealthy and unhappy with myself I wanted to change. When I wasn't busy with something I had to do all I did was eat snacks, watch movies, and I laid on my bed all day ( hopefully I used laid right haha).

I wanted to change what I ate and what I did all day so I started eating healthier and I started running every day twice or three times a day and so far I am much happier and I feel so much better than I did before. My skin is better, I go to bed earlier and wake up earlier and feel amazing, so amazing.

I used to be 75 kg which is 165 pounds (correct me if I’m wrong)
Now I am 64 which is 141 pounds (again correct me if I’m wrong)
I lost: 11 kg and that is 24 pounds

I was so surprised that I lost that much in a month or less because I still do eat a lot, I eat 5 times a day and sometimes more, I do eat mainly healthy (sometimes I do cheat and eat a little snack, but that is totally okay!) and I drink more water than I used to.

I think the main reason why I lost so much weight so fast was because I stopped drinking cola and any other soda drinks, and I am so happy to be rid of that crap because every time I drank Cola I always felt horrible afterwards even though Cola is delicious and I had a hard time stopping.

Like I said earlier I have been running twice or three times a day and I have been loving it so much, I always feel amazing after a good run and I was one of those people who hated running with burning passion, but now I can't wait to go running every day, I wake up in the morning and look forward to running.

So far I have been taking it easy because I am afraid of over doing it and hurting myself, so I've been mainly running and lifting a little, also I have been doing a lot of Blogilates videos on Youtube ( you guys should really check her out she is amazing!

One more thing I wanted to talk about is that I tried on a skirt today that used to be really tight on me and guess what ? IT FITS! I am so happy about that because I really loved that skirt!

My new motto haha:
Also in case you're interested I have a fitness Tumblr with a friend and it's: http://fitnessnoobz.tumblr.com/

A Slump

Hi everyone, I have been pretty annoyed lately because after the read-a-thon I got in a reading slump and haven't been able to get out!, I been trying to get out of it but no matter what I do I just can't, I want to read, but something is just holding me back, ugh it sucks.

On the plus side I got a new book this week that I think I will definitely enjoy soon (hopefully it will get me out of my slump)

Also I will be going to Croatia next week so I am very excited about that!, Summer Vacation here I come!

What do you do to get out of a reading slump ?
Will you be going anywhere this summer ?

Today I am going to do the Spell it out challenge that is held on Kimberlyfaye Reads blog

Use the first letter in any book you’ve read or want to read to spell out a word. You can choose first name, initials, your birthday month, or your zodiac sign.

I went through my bookshelf and I tried to spell out my full name but I only had one book that started with E so I couldn't spell my whole name so I decided to spell out my nickname and my last name which is Nena Gagic
N - Norwegian Wood
E ~ Eclipse
N ~ Night Circus, The
A ~ Are you there Vodka? It's me, Chealsea.

G ~ Glass House
A ~ Amy and Roger's Epic Detour
G ~ Great Gatsby, The
I ~ I've got your number
C ~ Cinder

That wasn't really easy haha, but it was fun.
Did you do this challenge ?
If yes, did you have fun and what did you spell out ?
